MediaSpace video collections

Every Moodle module has its own Media Gallery that is available from the Module dashboard. This is simply an area where you can conveniently store any MediaSpace videos you'd like to display on that module. It means you don't have to search through your entire collection of videos looking for the right ones.

To make a video appear in a Moodle Media Gallery, you need to publish the video in that gallery.

1. Login to Moodle.
2. From the top navigation menu, select Utilities and then select My Media.

3. Select a video by pressing the frame or on the title.
4. Under the video, select ACTIONS and choose Publish.
   • The default setting is Private, meaning only you can view it. However, if you submit it to a video assignment, then your tutor will be able to watch it.
5. Select Published. When you choose Published, you can pick which Moodle modules you’d like the module to display in.
6. Check the Moodle modules you want to publish to under the Publish in Gallery heading.
7. Scroll to the bottom of the page and select Save.
