About sharing a MediaSpace video in Moodle

You have two options to share your videos with students and lecturers on your module when your video is not for assessment.

  1. Publish to Media Gallery

The video will reside in a special media gallery within the module and any student or staff member on the module will be able to view it from the link to Media Gallery on the Module Dashboard.

  1. Embed a video using Kaltura plugin in the text editor.

This allows you to share a video on a number of collaborative and communication activities including Forum, Glossary and OU wiki.

  4. Check the Moodle modules you want to publish to under the Publish in Gallery heading.

  3. The MediaSpace video will be embedded in the Forum post.
  4. Select Post to forum.

Post a video in a reply

  1. To reply to an existing discussion, select the original message.
