About Choice activity

The Choice activity allows students to select one or more options from a selection of multiple responses. Your lecturers can use this feature to set up a quick poll to stimulate thinking about a topic or to enable you to vote on module issues. Choice can be set up to allow you to choose only one or one or more options.

Contribute to Choice activity

  1. Select the link to Choice activity from the relevant section on the module.
    • You can also select the link to Choices from your Module Dashboard.
    • On Grid format, open the Block drawer and navigate to the Activities block, select the link to Choices
  2. Choice activities that allow you to select only one option will display options with a round radio button.

Choice settings

Your lecturer apply a range of settings to a Choice activity. Depending on the settings applied, you might be able to:

  • Change your Choice after saving, by selecting Remove my choice. Make a new selection and select Save my choice.
  • See options chosen by your peers prior to or after making your own selection.
  • If you do not make a selection in the time specified by your lecturer, they are able to choose an option for you.
