The Digital Education team offers training to introduce new staff to our educational technologies and as refresher or top-up training to existing staff.
In the pages below, we have suggested essential training resources for teaching and professional staff. After you have completed the recommended training, you can explore the available training sessions by topic. Then either book onto a scheduled workshop via the calendar below, request training through the IT service desk or, where available, view a recording of an earlier session.

The Digital Education team offers a full programme of introductory workshops before Term 1 and Term 2 teaching starts to prepare new teaching staff and as refresher or top-up training to existing staff.
These sessions will be added to the LEaD events calendar (available below). You can read full descriptions of the workshops and book onto them through the calendar.
Most of the workshops take place online on Teams. Some workshops, such as the introduction to presentation podiums in the teaching spaces are in-person and hands-on. Details of the location will be sent to you when you book.
The calendar of workshops is regularly updated and also shows details of other events hosted by LEaD such as the Learning Circle and Rises programme.
Outside the scheduled training periods, you can request training for an individual or a group via the IT Self-Service Desk (link below).
You can request that we run one of our existing workshops, or ask for bespoke training on any of our supported technologies.

Our core hours are 10am to 4pm, Monday to Friday.
