You can set up Ratings for Glossary entries, Forum posts and Database records within Moodle. These ratings are then aggregated to produce a grade for each student undertaking the activity.
- By default, only lecturers can rate students. You can change the permission on ratings to enable students to rate their peers.
- Ratings can also be set up with a single option scale. This enables you to set up a scale for students to indicate Forum posts that they Like.
To use Ratings you first need to set up a Scale. A Scale provides a way of evaluating or grading performance in an activity.
