Source files are deleted from Kaltura MediaSpace (https://mediaspace.city.ac.uk) 180 days after upload to MediaSpace. Users will be given a notification 20 days before deletion via email. They will also be sent instructions on downloading source files for safe-keeping.
Please be assured that the video will continue to play as before wherever it is in use on Moodle, blogs or websites. You can also publish the video to new places if required.

You will receive a notification to download the source files from Kaltura MediaSpace 20 days before they are due for deletion. Recordings created using Kaltura Capture may include two source files - the screen capture and webcam.

Don't worry if you missed the notification, you can log a request on IT Self Service Portal to request a high quality version of the screen capture and webcam recordings.
