Introduction to Moodle student guide

180 days after your course has been completed, you will become an alumni. You will no longer have access to Moodle and all files and resources that it contains. You will be emailed before this happens.

As per Terms & Conditions, you must download or export any data, coursework or material which you wish to retain for your future and sole use before your Student IT Account expires. This includes Office 365 (including OneDrive and SharePoint), LinkedIn Learning and Kaltura media. City St George's will not be able to retrieve or make any data, course work or material available to you after your Student IT Account expires.

Download module content as zip file

On some modules in Moodle 4, you may have the ability to download module content as a zip file. This download will not include coursework that you have submitted.

1. Open the relevant module.
2. Select More on the secondary navigation menu.
3. Select Download module content.

4. A confirmation box will display. Select Download button. A zip file will download to your computer. 
5. Unzip the file and confirm that you have access to files required.
   • Files over 50MB will not be included in the download.
   • Academic staff can exclude files from this download option.
6. Repeat this process for each module you want to download content from.
