on 17 July 2023, City introduced a new version of Moodle - Moodle 4. If you were enrolled on any modules before 2023-24, you will still be able to access them via Moodle 3.9. You will can view and download resources, and make submissions on any of your modules on Moodle 3.9.
Moodle 4
Moodle 4 contains all modules for the academic year 2023-24 onwards.
- Go to https://moodle4.city.ac.uk
- Select the City Single Sign-on button.
- Enter your City credentials: City email and Password.
- The system will send a 6-digit code to your mobile device by SMS or via the Authenticator App. Enter this code into your browser.
- On first login, you will be required to review and check to confirm agreement with Privacy and Cookie policies.
- There is a link to Moodle 3.9 on Moodle 4.
Moodle 3.9
Moodle 3.9 contains all modules from academic year 2022-23 and the previous six years.
- Go to https://moodle.city.ac.uk
- Select the Login button from the top right of the page.
- Enter your City credentials: Username (e.g. abcd123), Password and select Login.
- The system will send a 6-digit code to your mobile device by SMS or via the Authenticator App. Enter this code into your browser.
- There is a link to Moodle 4 on Moodle 3.9.
