About Global Search

Global search will enable you to Moodle it, rather than Google it! The search feature lets you search for content on all modules that you have permission to access.

You can search for your modules, activity information and some activity content like forum posts, Moodle book chapters, glossary entries or collaborative wikis pages. You can also use it to search for content included within uploaded content such as lecture notes or presentations.

Search does not always return content in labels or section summaries.
