This linkedIn Learning resource walks you through the steps of creating and managing breakouts rooms in Teams. 
It shows how breakout rooms can be organised in advance of the meeting and also while it is occurring.

New functionality has been added since this recording. Meeting organisers can now appoint designated presenters or co-organisers as breakout room managers before or during a meeting. Please note: Only one person can manage a meeting's breakout rooms at a time.
