About student enrolment

Most student enrolment is automated. Programme Administrators should not complete manual enrolments on modules where enrolment is automated from SITS, via a business rule or from a meta-link.

Very occasionally you may be managing a module that requires manual student enrolment. Only Programme Administrators can complete manual student enrolment. Lecturers do not have permission to enrol users into the Students role on modules.

Programme Administrators may also need to complete manual Student Observer enrolment on modules to provide students with read-only access on modules.
