If the Updates by option in the Checklist is set to Teachers only or Student and teacher, you will be able to manually tick off an item in a Checklist for any student.
- Open the Checklist activity.
- Select View Progress from the contextual navigation menu. A table of how students are currently progressing through the Checklist will display.
- Select the Edit checks button above the table.
- Tick off the Checklist item using the Yes / No drop-down.
- Select Toggle Column or Toggle Row to fill the column or row with Yes or No.
- Select Save at the bottom left of the View progress page.
