About Quickmarks

A set of commonly used comments and phrases can be created for use when marking assignments. The comments and phrases contained within a set are called QuickMarks.

A number of common feedback comments are provided as generic QuickMark sets. These include composition and punctuation sets. The generic sets can be used in addition to any bespoke QuickMarks you create.

Quickmarks can be added by selecting text on a student assignment and applying a comment, or by dragging previously created comments from the panel on the right onto a student's assignment.

Use QuickMarks and inline comments

Quickmarks can be added by selecting text on a student assignment and applying a comment, or by dragging previously created comments from the panel on the right onto a student's assignment.

Selecting the text prior to adding the QuickMark allows you to more clearly mark which part of the student assignment the feedback refers to.
