This guide will explain how to submit a Turnitin assignment

Access feedback and grade

Once the lecturer has released your grade and feedback:Blue bubble icon highlighted

  1. Select the link to Grades from the secondary navigation menu.
  2. The Grades & feedback report will open. This lists all visible graded activities on your module.
  3. Your grade is displayed in the Grade column and your feedback will be displayed in the Feedback column.
  4. Select the link to your assignment title ( i.e. Essay) in the Feedback column to review your feedback.
  5. Feedback Studio will launch in a new tab. Your coursework submission will display within Feedback Studio.
  6. If you do not immediately see feedback, select the blue bubble icon in the first panel to the right of your coursework.
  1. Lecturers can leave four different types of feedback on your assignment.
    • In-line feedback in the form of blue bubble comments can be provided directly on your coursework. These comments are often used to provide feedback on the structure and clarity of expression in your assignment. Hover over the comments to read them in full.
    • The Instructor Feedback panel on the right-hand side of the screen contains:
      • Text Comments to provide feedback on your assignment and may highlight areas of strength and areas for development in your assignment.
      • Rubric feedback where you can review how you have performed against the assignment criteria.
      • Audio feedback where your lecturer provides short audio feedback on your assignment.
  2. To review your feedback offline, select the cog icon and then the download icon and choose to download the Current view. All the feedback will be included at the end of the assignment file.
