About Moodle 4

Moodle 4 has a fresh new look with improvements to both layout and navigation, and a host of new features. While the appearance may be changing, the process of creating content and activities will stay the same.

The Moodle landing page (My Moodle) is now the Dashboard page. The page provides access to modules and activities that require action e.g, grading for staff and assessment deadlines for students. The page contains five blocks and the location of the blocks can be changed by each user. Each user can personalise this page by adding additional blocks.

Settings menu

If you are on the module page, the Settings link opens up module settings where you can edit the start date and change the course format.
