You have three options available to provide feedback and grades offline in Moodle.
- Bulk download assignments and provide feedback via track changes on Word document and / or adding feedback to a coversheet. This option is useful for large groups of students.
- Upload feedback and grades via Excel spreadsheet. This option is useful for large groups of students, where operational feedback left directly on the student assignment is not required.
- Upload offline feedback individually. This option is useful for small groups of students and where you have more sustained internet access as you will need to individually upload feedback files. This option cannot be used for assignments where the Anonymous submissions setting has been enabled.
These options for marking are useful when you don't have reliable Internet access.
- You need to be online to download the assignments and the Grading worksheet.
- You can then work offline.
- Once your marking is completed, you need to be back online to upload grades and feedback.
