Pilot Role access provides elevated permissions and additional options. You will have the ability to rename, download and edit other user's H5P content on a specific module or category of modules. If you require Pilot Role access, you must request this by filling in the Pilot Request form and the Digital Education Team will process your request.
Staff who request the Pilot role have the ability to edit other users’ H5P content. This could be to make adjustments or to update information.
1. Navigate to Moodle 4 and the Module page which holds the H5P package
2. Select the More button and scroll to the Content Bank option in the drop-down menu.
3. Select the H5P you would like to edit.
4. Select the Edit button at the top left of the screen.
You will now be able to edit the content. Remember to save any changes before exiting the window.
Moodle does not warn you if another user is working on the same H5P package at the same time, and your changes may not be saved.
We recommend that editing should happen sequentially, i.e. one after the other, and not concurrently, i.e. multiple editors working on the same document like is possible in Office 365.
