Add multimedia to Moodle guide

Ted Talks is a platform for expert speakers in education, business, leadership, science and technology.

1. Go to Ted Talks.
2. Search for and select the video you want to share.
3. On the right-hand side of the video select the Share button.
4. A pop-up will display. Select the Embed button.
5. The embed code will display. Select the copy embed code button to copy the code to your clipboard.

1. Open the relevant module.
2. Turn Edit mode on.
3. Open the section where you want to display the video.
4. Select Add an activity or resource. From the Resources tab select Page.
5. Give the Page a meaningful name.
6. Scroll to the Page content input field.
7. Input some contextual information about the video that you are embedding. You could also include some questions that you want the students to consider as they watch the video.
8. On the top-row of the text editor, select the View drop down button to display the full functionality of the text editor.
9. Select the Source Code tab to display the HTML code editor.

   

10. Place your cursor in the location within the content where you want the video to display. Paste the embed code into the text editor.
11. Select the Save button to review the embedded content.
