There are times when you will have set your students an offline assessment but you need to return the marks via the Gradebook.
There are two steps needed to do this.
Add a grade item to the Gradebook.
Import the grades into the Gradebook.
Add grade item to Gradebook
Select Grades in the contextual navigation menu above the module name. The Grader report page displays.
Open the drop-down menu on the left of the page, choose Gradebook setup.
Select Add grade item button.
On the NewGrade item page, enter an Item name. This should be the name of the offline assessment.
Complete the Grade type and associated fields as appropriate, selecting the help icon for assistance if you need it.
Select whether to hide or lock the grades, adding a date if necessary. If Hidden is ticked, grades are hidden from students. A hidden until date may be set if desired, to release grades after grading is completed.
Select Save changes button.
Add grades
You can then input the grades for each student manually or bulk upload grades from a spreadsheet.
