Create Turnitin Assignment guide

Turnitin is an online assessment management system that you can use to support student submission, provision of grades and feedback. It also includes a similarity check. This guide provides an overview of how to set up Turnitin assignments.

Turnitin Feedback Studio Grading Forms

A grading form allows lecturers to make comments (and add marks) on specific criteria. Grading Forms are simple rubrics that allow lecturers to provide free-form feedback and scores for students across a list of criteria. In comparison to Rubrics, feedback provided via Grading Form can be more individualised and discretionary. This page outlines how to create a grading form in few steps.

Grading forms should be created using the assessment criteria for a specific module assignment.

Turnitin Assignment Settings

  1. When creating and/or editing your Turnitin Assignment, select GradeMark Options in the assignment settings.
