- Login to the relevant module on Moodle.
- Select Calendar from the Dashboard.
- Select New event.
- Select Show more.
- Enter the Event title to match the Zoom Meeting Topic.
- Set the date and time to match the Zoom Meeting date and time.
- Paste the Meeting invitation into the Description field.
- To make it easier for student to select and open the meeting, hyperlink the meeting room link.
- If this is a recurring weekly meeting, check the Repeat this event box and add the number of weeks into the Repeat weekly, creating altogether input field.
- Select Save.
Unfortunately, the Moodle calendar does not dynamically synch with Outlook or Google calendars, so to ensure students have quick access to the meeting room link and password you can also add it as a Label (display on module homepage) or as a Page.
You can use Quickmail to remind and prompt students about upcoming Zoom meetings.
