Launch the Camera app by typing 'camera' in the search box at the bottom of the screen and selecting the app from the search results. This is a simple and intuitive program for creating videos on a PC. The resulting recording is in mp4 format.
Mac
Launch the QuickTime Player app and choose File > New Movie Recording from the main menu. You can select the audio source from the drop down next to the red record button. Press the record button to start recording.
