STEM Digital Studio guide

This guide will give you useful advice around using the new STEM Digital TV Studio and the production of video presentations for your courses

How to book the Studio

  • Send an email to the STEM Digital Studio to make a request to use these facilities. Open Outlook and search for STEM digital in the Outlook directory.
  • We require a minimum of two working days notice for all equipment and facilities bookings.
  • Your request is provisional until we have been in touch to confirm the booking.
  • Please note that our office hours are Monday-Friday, 09:00-17:00. We cannot book rooms, or arrange for equipment pick-up or drop-off outside of these hours.
  • First-time users will need to complete an induction before using the facilities or equipment unsupervised.
  • You are responsible for the equipment you borrow during the time period of your booking.
  • Your Department may be responsible for any loss or damage incurred while the equipment is loaned to you.
  • We make every effort to keep equipment well maintained and facilities updated and in good working order. Please contact us if anything is not as you would expect it to be.
  • We can provide training and/or support in using the TV Studio facilities, but only if you request it.
  • We are always interested in disseminating and publicising innovation and good practice and may contact you to request a case study or other evaluation.
  • To submit a request to book the loanable mobile equipment please send an email to Richard Leach. You'll find his address in the Outlook directory.
