Moodle has lots of features to help you manage your content.
This guide provides detailed instructions on how to use these features. A quick overview of where to find these settings is outlined below.
You can add new content in any location within a section. You can move the content to a new location if required.
You can also move content using the Module index.
Finally you can move content using the content settings menu.
To quickly update your module for the new academic year, you can use the Bulk actions tool to delete, hide, make visible or duplicate content.
Please note that if you duplicate a Label or a Bootstrap label, it is appended with the word copy, remember to remove the word copy and update the title of the label.
If you want to perform an action on all sections or on all module content, select a section or a piece of content and then choose the Select all checkbox in the menu at the end of the module. All of the sections or content will be selected and you can then choose the action to complete.
You can also duplicate sections on a module, but this feature is not available from the Bulk actions menu.
Activities and resources within a duplicated section are not appended with the word Copy. If you duplicate a section, immediately change the title of the copied activities or resources before you get confused!
